Welcome
My name is Jules and I'm so happy that you are here. This is where you can see events coming up, read stories of grief from people just like you, find the Grief Interview, and you can buy my book The Grief Project.

Jules Kilson is a licensed professional counselor. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counseling, Jules owns her private practice, Rise Up Counseling. Jules has worked as a counselor in community mental health, inpatient and outpatient hospitalization units with children, adolescents, and adults, and in private practice. Jules has presented on trauma in Uganda, and done work with graduate students in counseling programs in Nigeria, Kenya, and Ethiopia as well.
Jules and her husband have four kids and 11 grandchildren. They live on a small acreage outside of Kansas City with their two dogs. Jules loves kayaking and camping, as well as baking, reading, and traveling, but mostly spending time with her family. Jules does something new every year to remind herself what it's like to be a beginner.

About Our Project
The Grief Project is a dedicated space for building a supportive community for sharing personal stories of loss and healing. Our platform offers a unique 22-question interview feature that allows users to document and save their narratives, fostering connection and solidarity among individuals experiencing grief.

Through our platform, individuals can find solace in the shared experiences of others, offering a sense of belonging and understanding. To further expand those experiences, the purchase of Jules' book The Grief Project is also available on this platform. Join us in this journey of healing and resilience.
